HOW TO INHERITE MOVES
you can pass moves in cystral one of three ways:
1. if both parents have a move they pass it on to the child.
2. if the one of the father's move is a tm or HM ,from that Game, the baby will learn it.
3. if the the Father's move is a move it learns at or before level 5.
SO lets say we have two pokemon:
Father=Hitmonchan
Comet punch
Confusion
Ice punch
fire punch
and Mother=Kadabra
Confusion
Psybeam
Psychic
Recover
the baby will be an abra because the baby takes after th mother.
abra would normally have just teleport, but it can inhent moves. let see if it mets both parents have a move. YES, they both know confusion, so Abra learns confusion. Let's see if Hitmonchan has any tm or hm moves. YES, it has fire punch and ice punch, so Abra learns Fire punch and Ice punch. Let's see if Hitmonchan has moves learn at or before level 5. YES, it has comet punch, so the baby will learn comet punch. so the baby will have comet punch, ice punch, confusion, fire punch, and teleport. Wait, that's 5 moves, and pokemon can only learn 4 so which one goes. The natural move is elimitaed, teleport. SO abra has comet punch, ice punch, confusion, and fire punch.
